Long Beach Ninja Warrior

September 20 is the Long Beach Home & School kicks off our exciting 2017 fall fundraiser: Long Beach Ninja Warriors Fun Run & Obstacle Course!  Be on the lookout for information and a donation envelope to come home with your student September 20, 2017.  If you did not receive a packet please click on the form at the bottom of this page.

The Fun Run is an annual tradition at Long Beach.  It combines fitness, fun and fundraising in an exciting dynamic day! This year’s Fun Run & Obstacle Course will take place during school hours on Friday, October 6.  Students are asked to obtain donations and financial pledges to support them in this event.  All proceeds go directly to support the Long Beach teachers, students and faculty.  The Home & School uses all Fun Run donations to assist in school sponsored extra-curricular functions and projects for the betterment, enjoyment, and benefit of the students, faculty, and families of Long Beach. Giving financial grants to teachers and sponsoring events such as: Trunk-or-Treat, Room Parties, Art Appreciation, PAWS, Sweetheart Dance, Yearbook, Variety Show and Fun Fair cannot take place unless this fundraiser is a success!

All students can participate in the Fun Run and all students will receive a Fun Run Ninja Warrior bandanna to wear in support of Long Beach school pride.  Students who obtain donations will be entered into a raffle for our main prizes: a Nintendo 3DSxl and a Chromebook!  All donations are due by October 3.  As usual, we will have a Fun Run family picnic (weather permitting) during lunch time on the day of the Fun Run.

Classroom prizes:  EVERY student in the classroom that achieves the largest dollar amount in donations will receive a $5.00 coupon for Cocomero Frozen Yogurt in Oswego! And the teacher of that class will receive a $25 gift card to be used for classroom supplies or needs.

Looking for Volunteers!!!

We have more volunteer opportunists:
Miss Parpart, the reading specialist, is in need for 2 or more people to help stamp and prepare LLI (books) booster kits on 9/20 and 9/21 from 9:00 am to noon.
The school is also looking for a volunteer to count the food donations and box them up after school every day next week. This will last approximately 15 minutes and your student can help. Even if you have one day you can do this it will be a big help.
If you are available please email me at or call/text me at
